In 1979 we purchased our first Boxer, Maurgen (Jimarlyn's Princess of Portia) from a Breeder in Oshawa, Ontario. At the time, we wanted a pet for our two daughters, Jillian and Rebecca, so we had her spayed.
When Maurgen passed away in 1990, we thought we would never get another dog, but this was not the idea in our daughter Jill's head. On December 23, 1990, she convinced us to take a drive to a breeder in Georgetown Ontario just to have a look at a male puppy they had. Paul had mentioned that if he got another boxer, he wanted a Plain Brindle Male.
Glencotta's Toreador 'Torre' joined our family that day and became our first Canadian Champion and Sire of our first litter. Several months later, we decided to purchase a female companion for Torre. Glencotta's Santana 'Tana' became a member of our family and also Torre's best friend.
In January 1993 we moved to the Province of Alberta and bought a home in the country. As Santana had been spayed and we wanted to start a Breeding Program, we purchased Glencotta's Lucie In The Sky. 'Lucie' arrived by plane in July 1994. She was the Flashy Brindle Female that we had dreamed about.
'Lucie' obtained her Canadian Championship, passed all our necessary health tests and settled down to become a very good mother. The Present, Past and Future Pages attest to her Success and our Future!!.
Please note the Abbreviation 'OFA' stands for Orthopedic Foundation For Animals, Inc.
