"The death occurred Friday evening, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Parker, of Mrs. Sarah Ryckman Bailey. The deceased had been in good health and her death was very sudden and unexpected. Besides her daughter, Mrs. Parker, she leaves another daughter, Mrs. W. Ellsworth, in Washington State, and a son, Harley Ryckman, in Nottingham (sic - Tottenham?), Ontario. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the residence of her daughter, Talbot street west, to Aylmer cemetery."

"Mrs. Sarah Ryckman Bailey, relict of the late Robert Bailey died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Parker, Talbot St. west, on Friday evening last, following a stroke of paralysis. Mrs. Bailey had eaten a hearty supper and was about to retire when stricken and passed away shortly afterwards. Deceased was born south of Copenhagen and all her life had been a resident of Malahide and Aylmer. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Henry Parker, of Aylmer, Mrs. Walter Ellsworth, Pullman, Washington, and one son Harley Ryckman, manager of the Royal Bank, at Tottenham. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence of Mrs. Parker to the Aylmer Cemetery."
