Notes:
The Marr family evidently attended the old Baptist Church at Port Burwell since the Clerk's book states that on April 2, 1825, Catherine Marr came forwards and told her experience and made known her desire to be baptised and Elder Merrill baptised her.
Mrs. Catherine Marr was laid to rest beside her husband in a tree shaded plot south of the Grovesend corner on the east side of the creek. Years later their remains were removed to the Dunboyne cemetery.
