"On Tuesday evening, June 29th, Miss J. Pero, who for several years has so successfully and acceptably filled the position of teacher at the Luton school, and who has hosts of friends through this section, was married to Mr. John Locock, a former resident of St. Thomas, now residing at Shelby, Ohio. Mr. Locock is spoken of in the highest terms by those who know him. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. C.H. Kimball. The EXPRESS joins their many friends in best wishes."

LOCOCK, Jessie M. - At Toronto, on Sunday, Aug. 21, 1949, Jessie M. Locock, late of 877 Lansdowne Ave., beloved wife of John L. Locock and dear mother of John R. and Margaret (Mrs. J. Dargie). Resting at the Jerrett Funeral Chapel, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (near Dufferin). Service Tuesday, 8 p.m., thence motoring to St. Thomas, and resting at P.R. Williams Funeral Home until interment Wednesday, 2 p.m. in St. Thomas cemetery.
