License Agreement

This license is to clarify the use of Timbre in any system. Timbre binaries and sources are provided free of charge in the spirit of the open source movement. Sources are provided so that they can be learned from as they ultimately specify the behaviour of the tool and therefore serve as the most accurate documentation. The sources also allow compilation of a binary for systems not included in the distribution. For these reasons, the sources are made available along with the binaries.

Design Objectives

  1. Create a universally powerful way of describing any translation.
  2. Provide an environment where comments execute thereby eliminating ambiguity found commonly in documented code.
  3. Have a development environment which embraces the agile methodology of continuous refactoring.

Release Purposes

  1. Better tools permit better solutions.
  2. Help others.
  3. Make the future happen.
