Are the Schools Working Toward Outcomes Expected for School-based Management?

To look at the correspondence between the outcomes expected for school-based management and the results Edmonton Public Schools' hoped to accomplish, I used the school-generated results and the task analysis. It is important to keep in mind that the results identified by the schools are directed to areas the schools feel need improvement. Therefore, the results and tasks aren't inclusive; they don't describe all of the activity in the schools. For instance, only 29 of 30 schools reported activities directed toward Program Delivery. However, I expect that an inquiry would find all of the schools engaged in teaching students and one school satisfied with its current approach to Program Delivery. Regardless, the schools identified 2307 results, that would cause them to improve.
