MULTI-COLORED AFGHAN

Use #5 crochet hook and 4-ply yarn. Select one dark color and three others. One may be multi.
Each row is worked separately. Do not turn work.
Leave a 4" end of yarn at beginning and end of rows for fringe.

All single crochets are made in back loop of stitches. All double crochets are made in front loop of stitch, in the line below the one being worked on.

Start with the dark color for the border and Ch 245 and break yarn.
This makes an afghan 60x48. For this you will need two skeins dark and four skeins each of three other colors. With a #5 hook and Red Heart yarn, mine was actually almost 69 inches. To decrease or increase size, add or subtract 20 stitches. That is one diamond width.
